How much does Christmas light installation cost on the Peninsula?
Most Peninsula homes pay $1,200 to $2,400 for Christmas light installation, and our smallest job is $1,000.
Your price depends on how much roof you want lit, how many trees you want wrapped, and how hard your house is to reach. We give you the real number on a ten minute phone call.
What the price covers
You pay one price for the whole season. We own the lights, so you buy nothing.
- We bring commercial-grade LED lights and cut them to fit your house.
- We hang them and hide the wires.
- We fix anything that goes out, free, all season.
- We take everything down in January.
- We store it all until next year.
You never climb a ladder, and you never keep a box of tangled lights in the garage.
What moves the price
Four things set your number.
- Roofline feet. We measure the roof edge you want lit. More feet costs more.
- Trees, by the strand. We price a tree by how many strands it takes. A small tree takes a few. A tall oak takes many.
- Garland, wreaths, and railings. Each piece adds to the total. Many homes skip them and light the roofline only.
- Steep or tall roofs. A steep pitch or a third story takes longer and needs more gear, so it costs more than a one story ranch.
Should you buy lights or lease them?
| You buy your own | You lease from us | |
|---|---|---|
| The lights | You buy them, and you replace them every few years. | We own them. You buy nothing. |
| Hanging them | You climb the ladder, or you hire someone. | Our crew hangs them. |
| A bulb goes out | You go back up and fix it. | We come fix it, free, all season. |
| January | You take them down in the cold. | We take them down. |
| Storage | You find room in the garage. | We store them until next year. |
How we quote your house
Call us and we talk for about ten minutes. You tell us what you want lit. We pull your house up on satellite while we talk, so we are both looking at the same roof.
Then we send you a free mockup. The mockup is a picture of your own house with the lights drawn on it, so you can see the plan before you say yes.
